Alinea is a small device which fits on the left of the front lock. When knitting fairsle and loop patterns it serves to bring pushers automatically in Working Position before arranging them for the new pattern series.
There is no more need to adjust pushers in Working Position with the help of the pattern ruler, because ALINEA aligns pushers automatically, whenever necessary. Immediately you can arrange pushers for the new pattern series either with PASSAP JAC or by hand.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ALINEA is a great improvement for pattern knitting with PASSAP DUOMATIC
Fit ALINEA in this holder. A slot on the underside at the right of ALINEA is provided for the fitting. Press ALINEA down until the small black key to the right and carefully, with the left hand and tilting it toward, pull ALINEA from the holder.
How to use the PASSAP ALINEA
The lock must be at left to operate ALINEA.
The lock must be at right, as usual, for pusher arrangement and colour change.
The trip cam (1) for the row counter serves also to operate ALINEA. It must be placed at the left edge of the knitting. The centre of the trip cam must be in line with the last worked needle.
